Flora Banquet is an interior design project for a celebration venue in Jaipur, where the primary challenge was working within a constrained footprint without letting the space feel it. The design response is built around an extensive use of mirrors along the walls, framed within arched panels that draw from classical detailing, creating a sense of depth and continuity that extends the room well beyond its actual boundaries.
The ceiling becomes the focal point of the space, finished in a rose gold reflective surface with constellation-style pendant clusters that multiply in the mirror below, turning light into the room's defining material. A floral medallion with a crystal chandelier anchors one end, while a sunburst sculptural element marks the stage, giving the hall a clear sense of procession and occasion. Deep red velvet seating, warm arched niches, and patterned sofas along the periphery bring richness to the palette, making the space feel celebratory even before an event begins.
