Oshay

C Scheme

2026

Oshay is a Namo Tandoori Chai outlet, and we didn't design the space from scratch. We designed it from the chai itself, pulling ingredients, rituals and everyday objects into the room and turning them into architecture.

The colour story comes straight from the recipe. The kullhad gave us terracotta, warm and impossible to ignore. Cardamom gave us the green that quietens everything around it. Milk gave us a soft white, and cinnamon gave us the warmth of wood running through the space.

The circular wooden portals at the entrance are inspired by the brass pot used to brew tandoori chai, framing the room the way the pot frames the chai itself. The service counter draws from the classic chai ka thela, and a long bench built into the seating gives guests a place to set their bags down, small comfort, big difference. Further inside, wall panels carry patterns inspired by Kashmir's kawa and pashmina, tying the design back to India's larger tea culture.

Some spaces ask you to finish your coffee and leave. Oshay was always meant to be the kind that asks you to stay.
